VSB supports the administration and application assessment for the following trusts:
Community Volunteering Scheme (CVS)
This scheme is designed to encourage and support volunteering by supporting as wide a range of volunteering opportunities as possible. Grants are available to small locally based volunteer-involving organisations which involve a volunteer team of at least 51% of people not in paid work. Examples of those which could apply include community groups, women's groups, local development groups, childcare and support groups, single issues organisations and youth groups. Women Caring Trust
Women Caring Trust are currently undertaking a review of their Policy and Funding Criteria. At this time they are not accepting applications. Further information will be posted on this site when available.
The Pilgrim Trust
The Pilgrim Trust supports projects that provide training, information and discussion, helping people to understand and address issues of prejudice, community violence and cultural difference. The Trust is also interested in projects which assist people involved in crime, alcohol or drug misuse to change their lives and find new opportunities.
