Women's Aid Christmas Gift Appeal : Great Success!

Staff in VSB and Women's Aid were overwhelmed by the number of gifts donated!
The Christmas Coffee Morning and Open Day at North Down and Ards Volunteer Centre on Wednesday 16 December 2009 was a great success. Volunteers and members of the public who wanted to find out more about volunteering called in and enjoyed some festive treats, and we were also delighted to welcome the Mayor of North Down, Cllr Tony Hill to our offices.
This year once again, in conjunction with North Down and Ards Women’s Aid, we collected Christmas gifts for children who will be spending Christmas in a Women’s Aid refuge. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your generosity. Staff in VSB and Women's Aid were overwhelmed by the number of gifts donated to this appeal and your kindness will have brightened up Christmas morning for a great many children and young people. Thank you all.
