Volunteers Week Gets Off to a Good Start!

VSB was delighted to celebrate the 25th anniversity of Volunteers Week with activities kicking off with 140 free tickets being distributed for a screening of Pay It Forward, starring Kevin Spacey.

The film Pay it Forward revolves around a school social studies assignment which leads to social changes that spread from city-to-city. Assigned to come up with some idea that will improve mankind, a young boy (Haley Joel Osment) decides that if he can do three good deeds for someone and they in turn can "pay it forward"  positive changes can occur.

The event was held at Queen's Film Theatre, Belfast and offered the opportunity to enjoy the film while also finding out about volunteering opportunities available and how to get involved.
