Belfast and Castlereagh Volunteer Centre
Many people of all ages are interested in becoming involved in voluntary activities. Young people may want to gain valuable experience for their CV; employed people may like to try something new; retired people have skills and experience to share, others just want to help those in need, meet new people and have fun! VSB provides information, advice and, where appropriate, training to those who want to volunteer their time, talent and energy to help others.
The Volunteer Centre also provides advice, information, volunteers, funding and training to over 700 registered voluntary and community groups throughout Belfast and Castlereagh. Part of the support is provided by Volunteer Organisations Linking Together (VOLT) Forum which brings groups from across the city together to participate in a range of training on volunteer issues and best practice.
